Results of work of Kombinat Magnezit Ltd. during 2006
In comparison with the year 2005 in 2006 Kombinat Magnezit JSC (makes part of Magnezit Group Ltd.) increased production of refractory bricks by 7,3 % — up to 387,4 thousand tons and production of salable powders — by 11,7 % up to 805,9 thousand tons.
Sales of refractory bricks increased in comparison with January — December 2005 by 10,5% and amounted to 3,7 billion rubles. Sales of powders increased by 11,5 % and amounted to 1, 9 billion rubles. In 2006 the enterprise increased deliveries of shaped refractories to Russian consumers by 1, 7 % in comparison with 2005 in particular up to 301, 3 thousand tons. Deliveries of powders increased by 7,5 % and amounted to 550, 7 thousand tons.
In December 2006 Kombinat Magnezit JSC produced 34,2 thousand tons of shaped refractories which is 6,6 % more than in December of the year 2005. 74,6 thousand tons of salable powders were produced which is 4,1 % more than in December of last year. Shaped refractories were sold for the sum of 338, 4 million rubles (growth by 12,8 %), salable powders were sold for the sum of about 176 million rubles (growth — by 8,9 %). In December the plant sold products to the Russian consumers for the sum of 481,1 million rubles which means growth in comparison with December of 2005 by 21,5 %.
Summing up results of work of the plant during this period the General Director of Kombinat Magnezit JSC Igor Anikievich said:
- Production activity was rather stable: orders of consumers for deliveries of shaped refractories were monthly fulfilled on the level of 30 thousand tons, for deliveries of salable powders — in volumes of more than 60 thousand tons monthly which regularly surpassed levels of 2005. I would like to underline with satisfaction that growth of production volumes demonstrated by Kombinat last year is the highest among refractory manufacturing plants situated all over «post-soviet» territory.
